My favourite things

Okay so if Oprah can have a favourite things show, then surely I can have my favourite things page.  Once a week I will pick one of my favourite things to share with you.  Stay tuned it could be anything!!

week 1:  This week my favourite thing is Nature's Gold.  A fantastic Australian owned and made skin care
               company specialising in skin, hair and body range and a fantastic range of mineral make-up.

I have already used the bath bar twice, you use such a small amount that it will last ages

After winning a gift voucher for LUSH hand made cosmetics, I headed into the Myer Centre in the City and I have to tell you that my senses were in overdrive.  For those of you who are not aware of LUSH, they are another Australian made company that specialise in anything and everything for your body and they are totally luscious. For those who unfortunately don't have the luxury of a store near them (thats sad) you can jump on at http://www.lush.com.au/.  I was like a kid in a candy store but finally chose a blackberry bath bar (crumble a tiny bit in the bath, add water and you have bubbles galore floating on top of the prettiest pink water that smells good enough to eat, and an almond and coconut smoothie shower soap, a luxurious cream so hydrating containing a vanilla pod infusion, coconut, rapeseed, sunflower and ylang ylang oils.)  They say the shower cream is great for shaving legs as well.

Do you know how she feels?

I am one of those crazy people who really doesn't mind housework, but really, who has the time to stand there and iron a mountain of clothes.  Luckily a couple of years ago for my birthday my fantabulous Peter bought me a super duper magical Conair PROFESSIONAL GARMENT CLEANER. 
With this amazing machine I can de-crinkle and un-wrinkle a shirt in about 30 seconds flat.  As it is upright it takes up very little space (no more putting ironing boards up and down) is great if you have back issues (as you do not need to hunch over) and it also refreshes your clothes, and is amazing to use on curtains, tablecloths and bedspreads, or anything else that your heart desires all with a puff of steam and the wave of a magic wand.
This is definitely one of my favourite things, and I wish I could give you all one.  (Maybe when I am rich!  You may be waiting quite a while.) ha ha
